Accident Injury Lawyer Steven G. Howe New Haven CountySteven G. Howe

Attorney Howe brings a powerful combination of experiences to our firm. For the first eleven (11) years of his career, Attorney Howe worked for a major insurance company as a trial attorney. Attorney Howe defended large corporations, like UPS and Darden Restaurants, against workers' compensation and personal injury claims. He served as counsel to the company's Special Investigation Unit, where he litigated matters that were targeted as fraudulent. Attorney Howe also served as Leader for his office's workers' compensation team, which required that he direct all of his office's workers' compensation litigation while supervising the attorney and paralegal staff.

During his time with the insurance company, he worked closely with adjusters and risk managers, and by doing so, Attorney Howe gained valuable insight that few plaintiffs' attorneys have. He recognized those circumstances that motivated the insurance company to move toward the settlement table. He learned how insurance adjusters and risk managers analyzed claims from the inside, as he played an integral role in the process.

Attorney Howe is now using this knowledge to benefit injured and aggrieved parties, like you. He began representing injured parties in 2007 as a partner in a local plaintiffs' practice and has continued to do so as a founding member of our firm.

Attorney Howe received his undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations with a minor in Economics. He graduated with honors, cum laude, and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society.

After graduating from Boston University, Attorney Howe attended law school locally at the University of Connecticut School of Law. His law school studies included a focus on the practical techniques needed to successfully litigate contested legal disputes. His coursework included Trial Practice, Evidence and Moot Court competition, among others. Attorney Howe earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree upon graduating in 1995.

Attorney Howe currently lives in Southington with his wife and two daughters. Attorney Howe is active in youth athletics and has coached youth softball and soccer over the past several years.
